Want to have your own custom artwork?  No problem!  My specialty is portraits and character design - I can do drawings of your favorite characters from video games, anime, movies, books, RPGs, or any original character that you'd like to see "come to life" on paper.  I can also work with fantasy or sci-fi elements and a variety of styles (want a chibi or a fursona?  Something more realistic? Perhaps more surreal?).   I like to tackle a wide range of subjects, so if you have an idea, run it by me and I'll see what I can do!

Commission FAQ

Q:  How much will it cost?

A: The price on custom artwork varies depending on the complexity and size of the piece.  Black & white images cost less than full color, and a single character portrait would be less than a piece with multiple characters.  Generally, a single character, 8"x10" B&W drawing would start at about $40.  Please contact me with your ideas and I'll get a precise quote for you.  I also ask for payment up front to help cover the cost of supplies and time, 50% of which is considered a non-refundable deposit.

Q: Do you do portraits?

A: Sure!  I will need a very clear photograph (preferably a few).  I'm especially happy to do portraits of pets.

Q: Will you draw anything I want?

A: I'm pretty open to most ideas, although I do draw the line at some places (graphic hentai/violence, for example).  If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask.

Q: What kinds of media do you use?

A: I have the most practice with pencil, pen, and computer/digital art, but if you have another medium in mind, contact me and I'll see if it can be done.  Although I have worked with a lot of different media over the years, I may not have access to certain art supplies at this time.

Q: How do I pay for the artwork?

A: I accept US checks or money orders, as well as debit/credit card payments through PayPal.  If sending a check, I will need to wait until it clears before proceeding with the commission.

Q: How long will it take to finish the piece?

A: Depending on the complexity of the piece, it could take a few days to a few weeks.  I will keep you completely up to date on the progress.  Commissions are first come, first serve - if I have other commissions lined up in front of you, I will let you know before agreeing to take on the project.

Q: How will the art be shipped?

A: I ship all artwork via USPS.  If you have ordered a digital piece, I can also send the artwork via email.

Q: Can I cancel an order for custom artwork?

A: If the artwork you have ordered is a portrait of a friend/family member, or an original character of yours, a refund cannot be given once the art is in production.  For other artwork, a 50% refund will be given if the project is already in production (the other 50% being the non-refundable deposit).

Q: Do I own the rights to the commissioned artwork?

A: No - in general, any art I do as a commission remains my property and cannot be copied, sold, or distributed.  However, if you need to own the rights/distribute it (i.e. the art is of your original character), please contact me and we'll work it out.
